Stopping shopping

London calling part 2

Day 2 – night!

After an amazingly relaxed afternoon, the evening involved going to the West End and enjoying 42nd street – it was so good!

And my beloved Bodeans had a branch right opposite (yummy American BBQ food!) In case you hadn’t guessed the diet went completely out  of the window during this trip!

This dress always makes me smile. When I first saw it I had to have it just so it would go with these shoes! Also yellow is one of my favourite colours!

It had an affect on some drunken dopes in Bodeans – after being seated opposite me they asked what I was eating because it looked good…”but not as tasty as you!” Serious question – does that type of line ever work?!

Day 3

The final day in London involved  (surprise surprise!) more food!  I met up with some friends at the Mondrian (breakfast was so good the day before and I really wanted to try the Egg Spammy after seeing 2 ladies having it the day before!)

Fully sated, my friend (also known as my “shoe enabler” as we became friends due to my slight shopping problem!) and I went for a late morning/early afternoon in Covent Garden and it’s surrounding area.  We both have a weakness for skincare and so went to the abnormal beauty company in Covent Garden – better known as Deciem or for it’s cheap but high quality brand the Ordinary. I was soooo excited to finally get my hands on some goodies and am in the process of testing them out!

The latter part of the day involved walking his lovely doggies! This involved changing into my travelling clothes which  ended up with some muck on them. O dear I had to purchase some clothes from the Gap sale! Baby bootcut jeans for £9.99! Bargain! And also needed as my jeans are currently starting to hang off me….

After all this fun it was time to go home. And take the hair out when I got there…

I am so SO glad that Twinwood turned into a no can go. It has been so long since I’ve seen my London friends and just enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the streets of London. I definitely won’t be leaving it so long until my next trip…

Now to suck it up and find out the damage at weigh in on Wednesday. Wish me luck!
